To eliminate poverty and substandard housing by building houses in partnership with those who are in need, who are willing to help build their own house and who have the ability to repay the no-interest, no-profit mortgage in the Centralia area.

The success of Habitat for Humanity in the Centralia area depends on the power and mercies of God seen at work daily in and through concerned Christians. A good deal of support has already come from individuals, churches, denominations, and businesses. No government funds are sought or accepted, although Habitat works cooperatively with local governments whenever possible. To succeed, we need you as a partner.

Selection of families and sites
Families wishing to be considered for a Habitat Home can complete an application. Families are selected based on need for adequate shelter, ability to make payments, and willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity.
Sites are selected according to the needs of the family and the availability of buildable lots.
